Italian Marni’s collaboration H&M for charity drive

marni-for-hm-announcement
If you have followed H&M, you would have know they have three upcoming events, January 19 for the last Versace installment; February 2 for David Beckham’s bodywear debut and March 8 for the highly-anticipated Marni collaboration. While counting down toward the first event, the Italian’s fashion designer have came up with an exclusive T-shirt for H&M to raise funds for Japan Red Cross Society. This product eventually adds up to one of their product lines.

The Red Cross will receive 25 per cent from the £19.99 naive hand-drawn design described as “full of charm and optimism”. For those of you who remembered, Japan was hit by devastating earthquake and its’ aftermath tsunami which have claimed 20000 lives.

The Marni for H&M range will be available across 260 stores worldwide and online from March 8. Do support if you must.

Paper bra no origami style

paper_cut_bra
I guess you would have made some cool origami in the past or present. I have even seen my friend who manage to fold thousands of items out of a flat paper. But what if bra that is made out of paper? No, not origami styled, only with the same material.
Paper-bra-by-Bodil-Jane
Bodil Jane, Rotterdam based illustrator, came up with the design of bra using paper cutting. It’s not a concept thought but did materialised. Apparently, she designed paper flower hats before which features in Summer Spring Collection 2009 that inspired her further.
