Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud leads Louis Vuitton Perfume

Louis Vuitton, in it’s latest news, has announced the hiring of Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud to be their head in scent development for upcoming new perfume. Cavallier-Belletrud, which past recognition includes involvement in the Jean Paul Gaultier Classic, L’Eau d’Issey, Dior Addict, Poeme by Lancôme and Stella by Stella McCartney.
It’s been reported that the highly anticipating fragrance, which is the first since the eighties, has purportedly started its’ work ever since the news broke out on Louis Vuitton “has recently been investigating rare, almost-extinct flowers in France.”.
It’s certainly a move perfume-lovers have been anticipating for years and would love to know what scents Louis Vuitton will comes up with.
Fragonard Candy Perfume

I went to Parfumerie Fragonard store when I had my visit to France(part of my Europe trip). The place has its’ own hall which shows the machineries involved to produce perfume. There is another place where their production staff do their work, from discovering the scent of a new perfume, to processing and packaging the end products. I would say the place is quite huge and the building has 2 floors. Visitors could also experience one of the stage in producing the perfume, if my memory serves me right, it’s called mixture process. I didn’t get the chance to experience that and only site visit of the building. I was told that Fragonard is one of the manufacturer that provides the perfume to some well known brands (repackaging it to those name).
