Celebrity’s stand on PETA’s fur-free pledge

If you have not know yet, many celebrities are giving their stand to support PETA’s fur-free pledge by participating in the photographed photo of them (some with no clothing on, literally naked). It has been long running campaign, with the theme “I’d rather go naked than wear fur,” in which celebrities and supermodels strip for the camera posing for the ads. The objective behind such campaign is literally to gather support from public in opposing the use of animals for producing clothing that utilizes fur, leather, wool, or silk.

PETA, the short acronym for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is an American animal rights organization claims to be the largest animal rights group in the world. They lives on the motto “animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.”

The recent celebrity that joins the pledge is Joanna Krupa, one of the cast members of The Real Housewives of Miami. Those who have posed for the ads are Khloe Kardashian, Penelope Cruz, Pamela Anderson, Justin Bieber, Aya Sugimoto, Annie Yi (伊能静) and many more.
