A while back I posted Colors in fashion, chartreuse color has been grabbing my attention off late. It appears that this color is going to be used for handbags (of what I seen its being applied) and many more soon. It first caught my attention when I was searching for burberry handbag and found its’ Pilgrim Leather Mini Bag.
It’s a nice looking bag to carry with for a window shopping. It’s mini in size as its name described and nice touching of its external material. It can easily fit the necessary cosmetics and purse in with additional buffers.
The color itself did not really caught me as it looks like green, but not exactly pure green if you have a closer look. It is the color between yellow and green that resemblance French liqueurs, the green chartreuse introduced in 1838.
It made me aware of the color even more when I found one of the shoulder bag which made of Nappa leather. For your information, nappa leather is the leather which used in some interior design and fabric for automobiles. It has the luxurious touch and this Bottega Veneta got my attention.
It is made of buttery nappa lambskin with an intricately woven texture in a strikingly bold hue.
And then recently I saw this Prada bag that makes me recall of the two bags I saw previously which uses the Chartreuse color and makes me wonder if the color is in trend now?
This bag is made of supple calfskin design with subtle distressing has a detachable shoulder strap and outside zip pockets.
The color makes quite a distinctive look and it certainly shines among the common colors. I am liking the color more now after seeing it for a while. What do you think?
