Princess Beatrice’s Hat Bid Nears $100,000 on Ebay
After Prince William and Princess Middleton wedding, so much of fashions goes fashionistic. One of them is Princess Beatrice’s Philip Tracy hat which gained much media attention. It was posted for auction in Ebay and the final bidding price would be divided equally between UNICEF UK and Children in Crisis.

The whole auction saga lasted for 10 days and got sold for 81,100.01 pounds, or about $130,000 in U.S. currency. Read more on the news at CNN.

For the past six years, Gucci has succeeded in committing over $9 million to UNICEF which signifies Gucci as the largest corporate donors to UNICEF’s “Schools for Africa” campaign. “Schools for Africa” aims to increase access to quality basic education for all children, with a special emphasis on helping the most disadvantaged children living in extreme poverty.
